A wonderful gift from my SS

Hi everyone I wanted to share a couple of pics with you one was the previous post from Pam on a christmas cracker I received and the other is this one from Melisa who is my ss from crazyquilting group that I belong to. She has been a wonderful ss to get me through this year and always sent me wonderful cheerful gifts and dropped in on me all through the year with notes and stories that helped me get through this stormy year. Anyway she made me a beautiful Hussif. I have always wanted one and thought people who had them must have been very special people and when I opened it I cried...Thank you so much Melisa it started my New Years just wonderfully. Christmas cracker

I wanted to post a few pics of the wonderful christmas cracker that I received from Pam on the cq list that I am on. It is a beautiful stitched block and was filled with all kind of goodies. In particular a beautiful handpainted button and fob plus beads, threads and nice stuff to use on my cq which I hope to be doing very shortly. Enjoy

AGood friend, chocolate and an awesome book

Now what more can a girl ask for. A very good friend of mine has shared some of her stash, delicious chocolate and a cq book with me that is awesome. Raven and I met in a cyber guild oh I guess about almost 5 years ago and though we have never met we stay in touch with each other all the time. She has helped me thru some rough times and I hope I have done the same for her but we have shared some good times also and I hope many more. We are going to plan to do a bom together in 2009 which would be awesome. Thanks Raven for being my friend and of course sharing.
Also here is a pic of my "coda girl" and she loves fabric almost as much as I do...lol

CQ purse

This is a purse i bought last fall to do some CQ stitching on it for the crazyquilt international group that I am in. Well i never did get it done in time but eventually I finished it and used it this fall.

Red delicious mystery bom

After allot of simply doing nothing as far as stitching goes i came across this wonderful blog where the lady is doing a bom called "Red Delicious"! I will have to get the addy and post it here. But this is one side that I finished of the first block and I am working on the second now and then I will stitch them down.
